My son is turning 7 this weekend and I feel like it snuck up on me. Holy shit! Where does the time go? Probably the same place all of my money seems to disappear to….

I didn’t get to plan a decent birthday celebration because it snuck up on me so quickly. Fortunately, when I asked my son what he wanted to do for his birthday he said, “stay at home and play.” So, invited my dad, one of my sons’s friends, my brother, and his wife.

I’m so glad that the simple things make my son the happiest. He is such a homebody. I’m not sure where he gets that!
